Someone from home
Someone from home is an interactive dance performance that has been developed in the frame of an EU-project including Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria and Austria in co-production of Institution Student Cultural Centre in Novi Sad, SILK Fluegge, Art Link Foundation and Teatrul Maghiar de Stat Csiky Gergely and deals with the subject of belonging.
Embedded in a contemporary context, the piece critically reflects the history, culture and traditional movement patterns of the Danube Swabians and culminates in a public dance evening. "Someone from home" entails the subject of belonging through the reflexion of cultural heritage. Simultaneously, he or she also harbours the ability to exceed all expectations.
